On Thursday, 31st March the Reception year children and teachers went to visit Green’s Windmill at Nottingham.
They all had a super time at the windmill and the weather was gorgeous. The children were a real credit to the school and were really enthusiastic, well mannered and showed off in the right way!
Whilst there they got to explore the science museum which was really interesting. The children loved looking at all the experiments and had a real laugh with their friends whilst exploring.
They also got to bake bread using flour from the windmill which the children got to take home and finally, the miller John showed them around the working windmill. The children listened extremely well in quite a hazardous place (very steep steps, moving parts etc) but were fantastic and we are so proud of them all.
They then had a quick go on the park which had the fastest slide in the world but the children loved it!
